Introduction
Neighborhood Society Service Center (NSSC), Chimmek Samaj Sewa Sanstha in Nepali, is a non-political, non-profitable and non-governmental organization established in 1991 (2048 B.S.) under Organization Registration Act. NSSC has a humble beginning with its office in Maitidevi Pati, in Kathmandu. It carried out primary & basic service in the field of Non Formal Education & Adult Education classes and conducted Health & Hygiene Awareness Campaigns.

छिमेक समाज सेवा संस्था श्रीमती भुवनेश्वरी पन्तको सकृयतामा नेपाली समाजमा पछाडी परेका र पारिएका समुदायका सामाजिक, आर्थिक र सास्कृतिक विकास गर्ने उद्धेश्यले २०४८ साल जेष्ठ ८ गते जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयमा दर्ता भएको संस्था हो ।
आफ्नो स्थापनाको वर्ष देखि आजका मिति २०८२/०२/०८ सम्मको ३४ वर्ष यात्रामा यस्ले काठमाण्डौ देखि तराई, पहाड, हिमाल सम्मका अति विपन्न वर्ग समुदायमा धेरै खालको योजनाहरु संचालन गरि लाखौ नागरिकहरुलाई लाभांवित बनाएको छ ।
